While the exact blend is a closely guarded family secret, the Pinot Noir dominance provides firmness and breadth, while the Chardonnay contributes elegance and subtlety. The nose is rich with aromas of white flowers, citrus and dried apricot mingled with sweet spices. On the palate brown butter, pastry, candied tangerine peel, red currant, walnut, and savory oyster shell reign supreme.
