This dry Chenin Blanc is sourced from some of the finest clay/flint soils in Chinon (from a tiny 1.2 acre parcel in the commune of Ligre). A bouquet of brioche, honey, and white flowers leads to a fuller bodied palate layered with lemon curd, honey, crushed stone, and a lingering finish. A delicious wine crafted with minimal intervention: native yeast fermentation in oak barrels, certified organic farming, and minimal sulfur at bottling. Approaching maturity and will only improve over the next few years in a proper cellar.
