Located on the west coast of Saint-Emilion, Chateau Meylet is a family heritage that has been passed on since 1875. This property of barely 2 hectares produces today a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. A hand-stitched wine that has benefited from the passion and curiosity of the men who made it grow. Rich in complementary terroirs, Château Meylet's vineyards are located on the foothills of the Grandes Murailles, between the Grands Crus Classés Laroze and Franc Mayne in the "Gomerie" sector. We are one kilometer from the heart of Saint-Emilion. Head winemaker Michel Favard pursues the logic of biodynamic cultivation towards the goal of respecting the fruit while developing a pleasant and expressive wine.

The Saint-Emilion vineyard covers 5,400 hectares, composed of four large varieties of soil, representative of the terroirs (and all horse plowed since 2010). The wine of Château Meylet is the product of seedlings developing on sandy-limestone soils, filth of iron and gravel. The grape variety of the 2 hectares consists of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. A representative balance of Saint-Emilion with a strong dominant Merlot.
